Sarah Kippax

Director of Achieve Pilates

Sarah has worked teaching exercise for nearly two decades and Pilates specifically for more than ten years. She is committed to making high-quality Pilates accessible to people with different levels of experience, confidence and physical ability.

Her teaching is detailed, encouraging and centred on helping clients understand how their bodies move. Rather than simply demonstrating exercises, Sarah explains the purpose behind them and uses precise corrections to help each person work more effectively.

During her career, Sarah has taught clients seeking to be strong and resilient for sport, return to exercise following injury and remain active, mobile and independent in later life.

Sarah has a particular empathy for how pain can affect confidence, energy and everyday life. Her own Pilates journey began following severe back pain and a debilitating breakdown of core strength after multiple pregnancies and Caesarean sections. Pilates enabled her to rebuild connection, strength and movement. This experience continues to shape her approach, as she recognises that those managing pain need patience, reassurance and carefully tailored instruction.

Sarah originally trained with STOTT Pilates and has since completed further study with TenEducation. She is continuing her professional development through in-depth training with BASI Pilates. This continued study reflects the Pilates philosophy of always being a student: there is always more to understand, refine and learn through Pilates.
