Let's Be Honest
You've probably had physio before. This isn't that.
What You're Used To
- A rushed 10 minutes squeezed between other patients
- A print-out of stretches and a "see how it goes"
- Treated as a symptom, not a person
- Back again in six weeks with the same problem
What You Get At Achieve Health
- A full assessment with someone who's worked pitch-side in elite sport
- Hands-on treatment from session one, not just a hand-out
- A plan built around your goals, whatever they are
- Strength work built in, so it doesn't just come back

How It Works
What to expect at your appointment.
01
Initial Assessment
Your first appointment covers a detailed look at your symptoms, medical history and activity levels. Your physiotherapist examines movement patterns to identify what’s actually causing the pain , not just where it hurts.
02
Diagnosis & Treatment Plan
You’ll get a clear diagnosis and a plan built around your goals , whether that’s getting back to five a side or just picking up your grandkids without wincing.
03
Treatment & Rehabilitation
Treatment often starts in the first session , hands-on manual therapy, guided exercises and practical advice to keep you progressing between visits.
04
Preventing Recurrence
As symptoms ease, treatment shifts to rebuilding strength and movement control , so the problem doesn’t just come back in six months.

Physiotherapy FAQs
Do I need a GP referral to see a physio?
As long as dermal fillers are done by a trained and registered practitioner they are very safe. All our practitioners are HCPC and GMC registered and have all completed training with the award winning Derma Institute
Do you accept private health insurance?
Are physios doctors?
Not medical doctors, but chartered, HCPC-registered specialists in musculoskeletal injury. Physiotherapists can refer for scans, injections and further care directly, often making us the first port of call for muscle and joint pain, ahead of a GP.
Can physio really help arthritis, sciatica or back pain?
Yes, these are some of the most common conditions we treat. We assess your individual situation and combine biomechanical assessment, soft tissue work, joint mobilisation and tailored exercise with honest advice on lifestyle, injections or further options.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Something that lets your therapist see or access the injury area while you stay comfortable, shorts and a vest, or loose-fitting clothing, both work well.
How long is an appointment?
Appointments run 30 or 60 minutes. We usually recommend the hour for your first visit, get in touch and the team can advise what suits your situation.
Should I go private instead of waiting for the NHS?
